We are experts on providing comprehensive solutions for this type of loads, which can arrive to the Port of Montevideo or to the Zárate Terminal in Argentina, port that belongs to our company.

In addition to the international freight of goods, we provide a logistic service that includes: transportation of containers from and to the port, extendible trucks that are suitable for oversized merchandise and storage in national repositories or in bonded warehouses. In this way we complete the logistics for each loading.

We have an extensive container yard of 67,959 m2 for nationalized equipment and a 16,307 m2 fiscal area. We store whole containers, without having to deconsolidate them for storage of the goods, empty containers used by third parties for operational reasons, and containers that have been purchased to build offices and houses, for example.

Open bonded warehouses are also used for storing general loads under tax system.

Murchison has a closed bonded warehouse of 2,700 m2 for storing goods under tax system.

Storage of this type of merchandise and under this system, implies that the client will not have to nationalize the goods until the moment when he/she will deliver them to the buyer.

Advantages of bonded warehouses

• Goods enter and remain in a costums warehouse without paying import taxes -except for rates- and are then included in another costums system, re-shipped or re-exported.
• DAP merchandise that is stored under costums system, may remain there for an unextendible period of 24 months.
• In a commercial costums warehouse, goods can be subject to operations destined to simplify their merchandizing or increase their value without modifying their original nature or state.
• Goods coming from Mercosur that are stored in costums warehouses are under costums suspensive arrangements that allow the extension of validity of the certification of origin (180 days) as long as they remain stored and are not altered. This means that goods do not lose their Mercosur Certification of Origin.
• The stored goods can be destined to any member state of Mercosur in a partial way, they can be fractioned.
